Oh Boy!

It's been way too long since our last post and I greatly apologize. Let me catch all of you up on what's been happening. Since our last post on May 4th, Kellen began saying "Dada". He said it on Mother's Day--thankfully he had already been saying "Mama" or else I would have been very sad! Jeff was extremely excited of course, and Kellen seems to have forgotten how to say Mama already(boohoo). Later that day, I found out that I'm pregnant! That's right...we're expecting a little one who is due on January 1st. We're hoping to have the first baby of the new year! Maybe we can get a years supply of free diapers!! So, after a few months of morning sickness and fatigue, I'm finally ready to sit back down and work on this blog.

Last week, we had our 20 week ultrasound of the baby. It's a boy!!! Kellen is going to be a big brother. He has no idea what we're talking about when we tell him there's a baby in Mommy's tummy. He's more interested in working on his walking skills. He is walking all over the house...it is now his preferred means of transportation. Now that he's walking, what a good little helper he's becoming as well! He picks up paper off the floor (after he's destroyed a magazine or wripped a napkin into shredds) and takes it to the garbage can, I open it for him, he drops it in and closes the lid. Today, he pushed the vacuum cleaner up and down the upstairs hallway, grunting the whole way---next time, I'll turn it on and he can do my vacuuming!

Well, I really do hope to do a better job posting to this blog...at least until the baby comes...then I might be taking another little break (can you blame me?).
