What's Up?

Hi everyone! We've been so excited to start this blog. We want to keep in touch with everyone, which is often difficult (phone calls are not easy when you have several different time zones to consider). We're hoping this will make it a little easier to keep all of you updated on what's happening with our family.

To start, most of you know, but for those of you who haven't heard from us in awhile, we just had a baby! Kellen David Savage was born on August 27, 2007. He is just perfect (as every parent thinks of their child) and fits in with us very well. We are blessed that he is such a good baby and amazed by how much love and joy he brings to us each day! We will be using this blog to post pictures and updates on Kellen quite frequently, so that his fans, especially his grandparents, can watch him grow.

In addition to having a baby, we just moved into our first house! That's right, we are not only new parents, but we are home owners now, too. We love being parents, but we are especially loving our new home! We no longer have to be subjected to "the noise", as we call it, from above or below our second story apartment (we definitely don't miss that!). We are coming up on our third wedding anniversary in December and as we look back at these three years together, this has definitely been the best year of our lives! We are looking forward to all that parenthood has to bring, even the tough times, as it seems God always uses those times to grow us and transform our lives.
